Overall, HVLP spray guns are very suitable for the following automotive painting applications:

Small or medium-sized paint shops: Material saving, compliance with environmental requirements
However, for large automobile manufacturers or production lines that require extremely high spraying speeds, other types of spray guns may still be used in combination.

5. HVLP spray gun selection and usage suggestions
Choose the appropriate nozzle size.
The commonly used nozzle size for automotive painting is generally 1.2–1.4mm, suitable for primer, basecoat, and clearcoat application.

Match a stable air source.
Ensure that the air compressor's output meets the spray gun's requirements, and configure an air tank and air filtration system if necessary.
