How to use a car polishing machine correctly?

1. Preparation
Use a neutral car wash to thoroughly clean the car body and ensure that there are no particles such as sand and dust on the paint surface to prevent scratches during polishing. After drying the car body, use a clay cloth or degreaser to further remove deep stains and oxide layers on the paint surface. Choose a suitable car polishing machine according to your needs. Use masking tape to protect non-polished areas such as headlights, chrome strips, and rubber seals. Wear goggles and dust masks to avoid splashing of polishing agent or inhalation of dust.

2. Polishing operation steps
Squeeze the polishing agent evenly on the polishing pad to avoid splashing due to excessive use. Start the polishing machine at a low speed and spread the polishing agent evenly on the paint surface. Take 40x40cm as a unit and operate in the order of roof → hood → door → trunk. Keep the polishing machine 5°-10° tilted from the paint surface, and only rely on the machine's own weight to apply pressure, and avoid pressing hard. Move at a constant speed in a straight line or cross path to ensure uniform coverage. Polishing time for a single area should not exceed 1 minute. If the temperature of the paint surface is too high, it is necessary to stop and cool it down. Wipe the polished area with alcohol to check whether the scratches are eliminated to avoid "fake repair". If the effect is insufficient, replace with a coarser polish or adjust the machine parameters and repeat the operation.

3. Post-polishing treatment
Remove the paint polish with a microfiber towel to avoid residual hardening that affects the gloss. Wash the car body again to ensure that there is no polishing dust and oil film. Wax or coat immediately to lock in the polishing effect and enhance the paint's anti-fouling ability. It is recommended to use synthetic wax or ceramic coating to provide long-term protection.
